Dr. David Amato began his practice in 1988 in Lower Paxton Township, Harrisburg PA. It has grown from it’s inception of a busy three person medical office into the present thriving dermatologic/cosmetic practice. As technology has advanced so has Community Dermatology providing the area with top quality dermatology care and services.

We have seen many accomplishments & growth in our short history. In 1992 Dr. Amato incorporated into his practice a complete array of aesthetic procedures designed to improve and enhance an individual’s appearance. This division, All About Faces, grew into a very successful and productive arm of the dermatologic services that we provide and continues to provide the area with quality aesthetic care. Dr. Amato was an early pioneer in the use of Botox, treating patients as early as 1994 and continues to be a leader in its use. Dr. Amato speaks nationally at many cosmetic dermatology seminars, teaching other physicians on the latest techniques of skin rejuvenation.

Skin care, skin rejuvenation and aesthetics have been the hallmark of Dr Amato’s career. Treating patients with attention to each individuals needs remains the cornerstone of care in our office.
